Book a consultation
Half an hour with the trading desk.
No charge, and no obligation attached to it. Weekdays, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
What the half-hour is for
Most requirements are decided by four things: what the product actually is, how much of it you need, where it has to land, and when. A call is the fastest way to get those straight — and to hear plainly whether we can work it, before anybody has spent a week on an enquiry that was never going to run.
It is a conversation, not a quotation. A price exists only in writing, against a specification that is settled, stating the delivery term and what it includes. Nothing said on the call is an offer, and we would rather tell you that now than imply otherwise.
We trade as principal. We buy from the supplier and sell to you on one quotation, so you deal with one counterparty rather than being introduced to another.
Choose a conversation
Four doors, one desk.
Pick the one closest to what you need. If none of them is quite right, take the sourcing consultation and say so on the call.
What to have ready
- The product and its specification
As far as it is settled. Grade, pack size and tolerance matter more than a brand name, and an unknown stated as unknown is genuinely useful.
- Quantity, with its unit
Tonnes, cartons, pallets or containers — whichever your own costing is built on. It decides which suppliers are worth approaching at all.
- Where it has to be delivered
To a port, or to your door. This is what sets the delivery term, and the delivery term is most of what makes two prices comparable.
- The date you are working to
Even an approximate one. Lead time is the constraint that most often decides whether a requirement is workable.
Scope of the consultation
Our consultation focuses on sourcing requirements, commercial arrangements and delivery planning. We do not provide customs, tax, sanctions or export-control advice. Where specialist advice is needed, we will recommend consulting an appropriate professional, such as a customs broker, tax adviser or lawyer.
Any subsequent quotation will state the delivery terms, what the price includes and excludes, and the responsibilities of each party. Pricing will be provided once sufficient information is available.
Prefer to submit your request in writing
Use our quotation request form to share your product details, specifications, quantity and delivery destination. Our trading team reviews each request. There is no charge to submit an inquiry.
